Description In 2022, Martin Pas, a renowned synthesizer shop in Turin, Italy, asked Accurat to redesign its brand identity. Previously, Martin Pas had maintained the same logo and brand elements, which the owners felt were rooted in an earlier, more analog era. They wanted a new identity that would reflect their cutting-edge innovation and appeal to a growing international audience.Accurat began with extensive research, including stakeholder interviews, market and demographic analysis, and data-driven competitive analysis. This deep dive informed design decisions to ensure the new identity would stand out in the music and electronics industries. The new logo, inspired by the store's distinctive perforated shelving system, features a square grid with circular motifs mixed with Helvetica New type. This design respects the brand's heritage while projecting a modern, forward-looking image. The result was a comprehensive brand identity that integrates seamlessly across platforms, from digital to print. A detailed style guide was created to ensure consistent application of the new identity, covering the grid system, typography, logo usage, color palette and visual motifs. The refreshed identity bridges Martin Pas' physical environment with the future of the electronic music scene.
